Suzanne Marks is an accomplished Commercial Property Management Professional with over 20 years’ experience managing mixed-use, Class-A office, and retail properties in Baltimore City, surrounding counties, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. At Weller Management Company, Ms. Mark’s primary focus is on the Lighthouse Point mixed-use project, located in Baltimore’s vibrant Canton neighborhood.
Suzanne Marks began her career with The Rouse Company, where she worked for 12 years, assisting with daily operations of 277,000 square feet of retail space and 265,000 square feet of Class A office space by acting as a liaison between tenants, vendors, contractors, and the in-house leasing team for office and retail spaces. In 2002 Ms. Marks transitioned into a Commercial Property Manager role with Cross Street Partners, LLC (formerly Struever Bros., Ecclesand Rouse, Inc.) where she managed along with many other properties, including, but not limited to The Can Company, The Bagby Building, Belvedere Square, TidePoint and eventually, the Under Armour’s Global Headquarters.
Following her time at Cross Street Partners, LLC, Ms. Marks became the Senior Property Manager at Cushman and Wakefield where she oversaw the PropertyManagement staff in addition to a significant portfolio of BioMed/Life Science facilities, serving as point person on third-party relationships.
During her tenure at the above-mentioned companies, Suzanne returned to school, gaining an Associate degree in Business Management and Administration from Baltimore County Community College where she graduated magna cum laude while simultaneously working over 50 hours per week professionally. Suzanne remains a longstanding member of BOMA, BPG and continues to learn in this industry, currently working toward her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation through Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).
